Loch Raven Report

On 4/26/14 I decided to head to Loch Raven after work and do some fishing from shore. I arrived around 4pm got my line in the water and within my first hour there I had a bite. It was a pickerel but as I brought it in it spit out the hook and flopped back in the water before I got a chance to measure and snap a picture of it. After that there wasn't much action until I pulled in my only other fish of the day a 15 inch largemouth which was safely released back into the water. Both of these fish were caught on a crankbait. All in all it was a good evening of fishing. On a side note there was a significant amount of trash left behind by other anglers in this area. Please dispose of your trash properly,it's our responsibility to keep these areas clean.
