My daughter Abby (20 months old) and I went fishing Friday afternoon and caught a 14 inch largemouth. She couldn't quite lift the whole pole, but gave it a good effort. I caught this female on a small jig meant for crappie/bluegills. It hooked up about 3 feet from the shore and Abby wanted to hold the pole after I landed it. We took a few pictures and after Abby waved "bye bye," we released her back safely to hopefully spawn many more bass for us to catch. We'll be back soon.
