Fished below Conwingo Dam on Saturday for Walleyes and Stripers. Caught one Walleye before sunrise on a three inch chartreuse curly tail and lost it bringing it up on the bank. Caught my limit of two Stripers (22 and 23 inches) by 7:30 am with only one gate running water. Caught on a three inch chartreuse curly tail and three inch white glow curly tail. Decided to keep fishing once they opened up more water. Caught two more Stripers 28 inch and a 35 inch which were both released healthy. Both were caught on a chartreuse fly with flash that i tied the night before. All the Stripers were in the classic fall stage of "fatten" up for the winter.
