Striped Bass

Our group of three chartered the Loch Jaw with Capt. Loch Weems and first mate Wally out of Solomons on a bluebird Saturday. Larry, Alex, and myself reeled in our limit of rockfish (mostly 20 inchers) early at the Targets. We left one slot open for a trophy and headed a bit north. Loch and Wally set the planer boards and rigs, and after about 1 hour of trolling, this 39 incher hit a large bucktail tipped with 9 inch plastic shad. Quite a whopper and perhaps the best way to end our day on the Bay.
