Jigging Suspended Rockfish

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Southern
Location: Middle Bay

I was jigging up a few small suspended rockfish in Eastern Bay. On the way home I stumbled across a massive feeding frenzy in the middle of the bay. The jig was getting devoured within a second of hitting the water, but I did manage to get it below to find a giant. It was funny getting fish in 80 feet of water, but I suppose it dosen't matter when the fish are suspended in the thermocline.
