Plenty of shad between Deer Creek and Lapidum

We saw plenty of hickory shad between Deer Creek and Lapidum today and a couple American shad, a few perch and herring too. The water was very warm for this time of year...15C (59-degrees). The boat ramp and bathrooms at Lapidum are closed. There is pedestrian access for anglers at the north end of the parking lot.
