Balto County Mixed Bag

This report is from the past holiday weekend. Caught a few Chain Pickerel from Loch Raven, while running spoons over the grass beds. Catch and release of course. Also fished in the upper Gunpowder, near the NCR trail, in various put and take areas. The trout bite was excellent in the morning hours. Kept a few hatchery raised fish for eating, and released all the smaller browns, along with a few tiny Smallmouth Bass. Drifting small nightcrawler pieces along the bottom was the most effective technique. Tight lines!
