Upper Potomac Report

Location: Potomac River at Mouth of Monocacy

Took the kayak out Sunday early afternoon for a few hours. Put in at the mouth of the Monocacy and paddled out to the Potomac. I paddled up to the point of the 1st island and drifted back down to the Monocacy a few times. The river is really low, read 1.2' at Point of Rocks. Caught 10 fish, mostly 10 to 12 inches. Did manage my best of the year, 17" smallie on a 5" Senko.
