Caught a nice 41.5 inch rockfish

Caught a nice 41.5 inch rockfish on Thanksgiving morning. Fished straight out from Plum Point. Trolled mostly east to west, first tried from 50-70 foot deep and didn�t mark a lot of bait fish so I headed in shallower to 40-50 foot and marked a fair amount of bait fish schools holding some rockfish. Caught the fish with a white bucktail and 6 inch pearl shad about 25 feet deep. It was rough and I was by myself but luckily was able to land the fish.
