Low and Slow to Catch the Fish

Type: Nontidal
Region:
Location:

I got out on the water late in the afternoon. I tried a square bill crank bait and managed to catch 2 Bluegills and a small bass. I switched up to a white jig and fished off the bottom. That did the trick as I got 6 more fish including this stout Bluegill. I had lots of short bites also on the jig. Low and slow seems to be what is working best this time of the summer.
