Big Channel Cat

Diane caught this 32 inch 12 lb. 10 oz. beast at Rocky Gap State Park on 8-29-14. She caught it using a night crawler on a 4 1/2 ft. Ultra Light Ugly Stick, Abu Garcia Abumatic reel on 4 lb. test with a #6 bait hook. After 15 minutes the big guy tired out and we were able to land him in our 14 ft. Jon boat. Her line and my landing net both broke as we got him on the boat. Needless to say, she was a little excited when she qualified for the Maryland Fishing Challenge.
