This past Saturday I was out fishing with Captain Henry Scott on one of the coldest days of the year. It was 11 degrees without the wind-chill and the wind was blowing north east at about 15 mph. Hows that for a great day of fishing? We were fishing the Susquehanna River under the bridge near Port Deposit/ Perryville. We caught fish all morning (80% were keepers of 10 or more). One fish was 14 and a number of fish had roe in them. We fished in about 55-75 ft of water using live minnows and 3 or 4 oz sinkers to help us stay on bottom due to the current because of the wind. A few boaters braved the weather for fishing although the majority of boats we saw were out duck hunting instead. Had a great time catching Yellow Perch. Fried up a few immediately upon return. Great tasting yield.
