I fly fished a creek in Garrett County on October 4th, and caught two rainbow trout. One was caught on a foam beetle, and the other on a black stonefly nymph. It looked like the trout were feeding on ants or something falling from tree branches because when the wind picked up and the leaves fell the fish would strike the surface near the overhanging trees. Other exciting sights that day included two young/small black bears, four white tailed deer, and a turkey.
