On October 7, 2014 we were fishing at Newtowne Neck State Park on the Potomac River. It was difficult fishing due to the extremely windy conditions. We caught a total of five white perch that were big enough to justify keeping. We released several small white perch. Elijah caught the largest white perch; which was 10 inches long. This white perch was caught on a white jig with a spinner. In addition, we caught several small American eels.
