Patuxent Perch

Until recently , I've never seen yellow perch on the Middle Patuxent and Patuxent. These are the sections where they are small creeks. The fish appeared to be extremely healthy with beautiful vibrant color and there was certainly no shortage of them as I caught nearly 15-20 of them. A lot of the YP were in the 6-8 " range . No keepers (not that I would anyway) , but an encouraging and suprsing find. This is in the Howard/Montgomery area.
