When November comes around I like to go shore fishing at Loch Raven just before sunset. Usually a pickerel is lurking for one last meal before the cold of night takes over. But on Friday Nov. 7th, I was surprised that it was a Largemouth Bass that took my white Joe's Fly in-line spinner. He measured out at 17 inches with a 12 inch girth. The basic formula calculated a weight of 3.06 pounds, my biggest bass ever out of Loch Raven.
