Having some time this morning I decided to head to Calvert Cliffs State Park for a little while. I thought I might try a jerk bait for a little bit to see if I could get a bass to bite. I had no luck with that presentation so I decided to switch to a Matzuo crankbait. I was able to cast to a couple of spots, just outside of a few tree limbs. A crank or two to get it down and I'd wait, a couple more and I was hooked up. At first I thought it was a largemouth, but to my surprise I found this guy at the end of my line. I guess this one has eluded all the fishermen who come down right after stocking. I snapped a photo or two and then released it back into the water.
