Big Gills in 38 Degree Water

Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Local Pond

Had to scale way down to a 1/200th ounce Trout Magnet tipped with a tiny piece of worm for some quality panfish. The largest bluegills were in among submerged primrose stalks along the banks of a local pond. Two day total was 56 in 38 degree water...all on 2 pound test line. Hope to get out a few more times before the new year. Best bluegill was 10.25 inches, all released.
