New Years Day Crappie

I started the New Year off right with a mess of crappie all caught on small tube jigs under a casting float, with a light action rod and 4 pound test. I caught them around docks and in deeper creek channels. I had to work around the floating/moving sheets of ice, but was well rewarded with fish up to 13.5"
