Four-year-old Emily Stonesifer and her dad Nick joined us on the ice of Deep Creek Lake with the hopes of both father and daughter catching their first fish through the ice. It didn't take long - the bobber on Emily's fishing pole plopped down the hole and a fish was rapidly taking out line! Emily grabbed the pole and started reeling in the fish and became quite excited as she could see the fish swimming under the ice! Soon a toothy chain pickerel was on top of the ice! After seeing the sharp teeth, she was a little hesitant about holding the fish for a picture, so dad took the honors. She did gently put fish fish back down the hole so it could fight another day.
