Nice Channel Cat at Culler Lake

My son and I were thrilled that the lakes and ponds are finally thawing out so we hit up reliable old Culler Lake on Saturday. My son noticed the rod tip bend and set the hook and fought this little hog all the way to the bank all by himself. A very stout channel cat that was 1 oz shy of 7lbs. Not our biggest cat from here but certainly a good one and a great way to kickoff the start of spring fishing for 2015!
