With the ice finally leaving our local waters I have had a chance to slip in a few trips for the early crappie and bluegill bite. Most of these fish were taken on slim profile 1/80th ounce thread-bodied hair jigs tipped with maggots and suspended 5 to 6 feet below sensitive floats. Looking for the action to pick up as the weather improves. Here are a few pics�
