Trout Fishing at Little Patuxent and Middle Patuxent

Went fishing at the Little Patuxent mid-day on Saturday. There are a bunch of fish everywhere! They unfortunately, seem to be on the small side. Caught and released 11 trout, all rainbows, with the largest being around 12�. They were hitting lures and powerbait for just about everyone that I saw.

Decided to go over to the Middle Patuxent for the afternoon with some lures, and boy was I happy that I did. Very nice brown trout are plentiful in the stream right now (there asre also rainbows mixed in for good measure), and are voracious when hitting lures�I actually lost count of how many fish I was able to land, but it was upwards of 20 easily�with the Delayed Harvest rules in place, these fish will be there for plenty of fisherman to enjoy for the next several months�most of these fish were in the 10-14� range, with several that I caught larger than that�these fish are feisty, and put up a great fight when hooked.
