Hybrid Trout?

My nephew Ethan Fink caught this trout March 31 on Owens Creek is this a brown/rainbow hybrid?

DNR Response: It is a rainbow trout. We observed a number of rainbows with a distinct yellowish color while stocking. Up in that area we occasionally see tiger trout (instream cross between brown and brook trout), but this is a rainbow that was simply lighter in color. We stock golden trout that are a color phase of a rainbow instead of a separate species (like the Californai Golden trout), but they tend to be goldfish orange instead of this color.
