Diversity Fishing on the Potomac

Location: Potomac River

While bass fishing I caught a 42 inch gar, what a fight. Very difficult to land these fish as every inch of their body, and mouth, is hard as a rock. I also wrestled this feisty flathead into the boat last week. Both fish caught on the Potomac River near the Occoquon.
