First Striper

Jayden Venable aka. Capt Big Fish on his first fishing trip on the Bay. Thursday, May 7th, no wind, calm waters, and 72 degrees.

The perfect day. The first hook up I could not hold the rod. It was a monster (estimated 50 pounder). My best fishing buddy took over the rod (Papaw). He fought the fish for a solid 20 minutes and after coming up for the forth time doing a dozen tail spins he snapped the line! Wow, It was pretty quiet for a while. Until..............the next hook up!

Fish On! I worked this fish pretty good. He was tough, but after pulling and reeling I landed my first stripper. A nice 35 inch fish.

His is one of those great days fishing.
