A day of firsts....

Today was a day of firsts. I visited Clopper Lake for the first time and tested out my new LL Bean Travel Series 4-piece rod. It's a 6-12 lb, medium power, fast action graphite rod and it felt great. I was using my new Strike King Bleeding Mini-King spinnerbait, which I bought as a treat for myself to kick off the season. After a few casts, a pretty decent large mouth hit the lure.
