Blackwaters Variety

My wife and I had a great day of fishing at Blackwaters, upriver from Route 335 and caught a nice mix of fish including 7 largemouth bass up to 18", 12 snakeheads up to 26.5", one crappie, one yellow perch and one white perch. I caught 7 of the snakeheads, their lengths were 25", 23.25", 22.5", 21", 16.5", 16" and 16". Two of them were females that were still carrying eggs. I caught most of my fish on poppers, one or two on large swimbaits. All fish were kept and will provide friends and family with many meals.
