I decided to skip opening day as it's usually too crowded and instead got an early start on Sunday. Headed up to the Little Gunpowder river where I caught this beautiful 21' rainbow at 7:15am casting a copper spoon with a soft plastic white grub on the single hook. Caught the fish casting into the current from the south side of the Jerusalem Road bridge. Weighed in a just under 5lbs on my kitchen scale.
