A shout-out for the Mid-Atlantic Council Trout Unlimited�s 2011 Annual Banquet that was held on March 26th in Baltimore. An evening of good food, good company and good deals � raffles and auctions, including some incredible fishing trips. Also, for their environmental stewardship efforts in 2011 to address invasive nonnative species issues (i.e. whirling disease, didymo), promote youth fishing, and land-use impacts on aquatic resources. The Mid-Atlantic Council Trout Unlimited�s Mission is �To conserve, protect and restore North America�s coldwater fisheries and their watershed�. And, their Vision is �By the next generation, Trout Unlimited will ensure that robust populations of native and wild coldwater fish once again thrive within their North American range, so that our children can enjoy healthy fisheries in their home�.
