Rainbow Trout at Friends Creek

On Saturday (3/26) I braved the cold and went to Friends Creek for opening day. Apparently due to the cold, fewer other fishermen were there this year. I found a secluded pool (no one to be seen up or down stream) and managed to rapidly catch my limit including this monster female that was 21 inches long with an 11 � inch girth. It gave me quite a fight on my fly rod. I took me 3 tries until I could get her to go head first into my smallish landing net.
