To satisfy my curiosity in learning whether or not there were any white perch at Red Bridges (located on the Upper Choptank River just north of Greensboro), I stopped by this evening in between school functions for my kids. There was no one there fishing which isn't a good sign. I decided to fish for 15 minutes and did not catch anything, or even have a bite. There were, however, several Great Blue Heron fishing in the river, and an osprey perched in a tree above the stream so I assume there are some fish there. Hopefully, we'll see another good run of white perch up to Red Bridges when temperatures warm back up. Hope my report helps those who have been wondering like I have been.
