Report: Approaching Sandy Point from the West on Route 50, saw an ominous, building cloud south of the Bridge. Abandoned plans to try Hacketts Bar and checked the sewer pipe and ledges to the north. About 0830, two funnels dropped from the cloud. The one on the eastern side developed into a waterspout. Found fish on ledges but not much of a bite. Large fleet off Love Pt trolling incl some with planers, chumming, and live lining - real mixed bag. Found fish later near the pipe mid-afternoon. Caught 4 undersized stripers (largest 15") and broke off a couple jigging.
