I pulled this Walleye out of the Potomac River today. Walleye are not that common in the Potomac. I have only caught 3 since last year, but they tend to be decent sized when you are lucky enough to find one. I also caught a handful of rockfish, but I decided not to take pictures because they are fragile and mortality rate runs about 5-10% if you take them out of the water for any length of time. For rockfish, I net them and leave them in the water while I remove the hook. I have achieved 100% survival rate using that method.
