Canoe Fishing on the Savage River Reservoir

We fished the Savage River Reservoir from our canoe on 8-23-15. There were plenty of smallmouth bass in the 9 to 13 inch range. Dad and I caught most fish on medium size tubes casted near the shoreline. The water level is down about 8 to 10 foot and the water is still very clear.
