Lake Allen Bass

My dad and I went out to Lake Allen for a couple hours the morning of Saturday 8/22. Each of us caught 1 bass. I was using a Yellow Perch pattern Scatter Rap Shad. Hooked up a smaller fish then a second later this big bass went after that fish. The smaller fish got off, but the bass stayed on. Did not get a chance to weigh or measure the fish because we wanted to get it back into the water, but it had to have been 21 inches plus and probably weighed around 5 lbs. Afterwards, my dad reeled in a largemouth around 12 inches.
