2015 Potomac River Smallmouth Bass Survey Results

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Inland Fisheries Division, conducts surveys each summer to monitor the yearclass strength of smallmouth bass in the nontidal Potomac River. Monitoring yearclass strength is an important factor in understanding population trends that impact the quality of fishing.
