Choptank River Tidal Bass Survey

Eastern Region Inland Fisheries and Tidal Bass Program staff recently surveyed the tidal largemouth bass population in the Choptank River. Several bass in the 2-3 pound range were encountered during the survey, including this fish just shy of 5 pounds! Juvenile bass were also captured during the survey, indicating that reproduction is occurring in the Choptank River.
