CITATION AWARD WINNER

Type: Nontidal
Region: Northern
Location: Gunpowder State Park

I was fishing at the Gunpowder state park on a Sunday morning with my wife, and thought I had a large mouth bass following my bait. I soon realized it was not a large mouth but the biggest Rainbow Trout I had ever caught. I yelled for my wife to come and help me with the net so I would not loose such an awesome fish. She ran as fast as she could from downstream and almost fell in. We tried to net it but it was too large for my net so I decided to just grab it. Once I did I threw it far up onto the bank to make sure it didn't slide back into the water. I immediately realized this was a citation fish and made my way to Tochterman's to check it in.
