Wild Brown Trout

Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Upper Gunpowder River

I caught and released several wild brown trout from the Upper Gunpowder River, upstream of Falls Road. The trout were rising in the afternoon and hitting blue-winged-olives. They were especially active where the sun was hitting the water, and a lot of fun to catch on a 2-weight fly rod.
