Fisheries Staff Stocked Largemouth Bass on Eastern Shore

Eastern Region Inland Fisheries staff recently stocked largemouth bass into tidal freshwater reaches of Choptank River and Worton Creek as part of Tidal Bass Program efforts to enhance these fisheries. 725 five to seven inch bass were stocked at 15 sites between Martinak State Park and Greensboro, MD in the Choptank River. 1,000 three-inch bass were stocked at 2 sites in Worton Creek. These fish should be fishable in about a year! Let us know how your fishing's been in these places.
