Still Some Good Fishing On the Monocacy

Friday after work I rode my bike over to the Monocacy trail just north at Riverside/Riverbend Park boat launch for a couple hours of fishing. The water levels were back down to below the banks and flowing nicely, but some of the shoreline and good sand bars for fishing spots were still covered. A beautiful afternoon of fishing I caught this nice 10" smallmouth and a saw a Northern water snake about 10 feet away from my spot.
