Two Outstanding Fall Fishing Days

I took my last two vacation days last Thursday and Friday to head back over to Rainbow Lake and Cunningham Falls Reservoir to see how the trout stock would treat me this time. Thursday I had no luck at Rainbow Lake and I caught a 10" Largemouth over at Cunningham Falls on a 1/8 Kastmaster Spinner. Friday morning I headed back up to Rainbow Lake and caught a nice 13" rainbow on a Power Bait rig, then I headed over to Cunningham Falls to find the DNR trout stocking truck dumping 600 fresh rainbows in the lake and was able to catch one there as well. The larger rainbow is from Rainbow Lake the smaller from Cunningham Falls. Two outstanding fall days fishing in Frederick County.
