On Wednesday (10/28/2015), Elijah caught this blue catfish at Nanjemoy Wildlife Management Area (formerly Purse State Park) on the Potomac River. The method was bottom fishing with chunks of Atlantic menhaden (sold at bait stores as "alewife"). Elijah described this catfish as the biggest fish that he has ever caught. November is the month of big catfish, so hopefully he will soon catch one even bigger.
