Prettyboy Reservoir Bass Survey

Central Region staff recently conducted an electrofishing survey of Prettyboy Reservoir in northern Baltimore County on October 13th, 14th, and 15th. Prettyboy Reservoir continues to maintain healthy fisheries for both largemouth and smallmouth bass throughout all age classes. Fifteen randomly selected sites were sampled throughout the reservoir and bass were collected at a rate of 135 per hour of electrofishing. Multiple yellow perch up to 14 inches were observed and the biggest fish of the survey was a 20.5 inch 5.5 pound largemouth bass.
