I went out on the Potomac River near Antietam Creek for a few hours on Sunday. The river was low and crystal clear, water temps around 58 degrees. I didn't get a whole lot of action but landed three of four fish that bit. First one was a 14.5-inch smallmouth bass, a fallfish that was just about as long, then a 11.5-inch smallmouth. The smaller smallmouth had really nice contrasting colors. All were caught on a three-inch plastic worm on a weedless jighead.
