Christmas Eve Walleye

Fished the Upper Potomac River near Big Slackwater on Christmas Eve for a couple hours. Water temperature was around 40 degrees but air temperature was in the mid-60s! I caught four walleye in the 10-12 inch range in two hours on Rapala Shadow Raps. Fortunately for the fish they weren't legal size for Christmas dinner, so they were returned to fight again.
