With the air temperatures in the mid 60's and climbing even higher, I had to get the kayak out one more time this year. There was nice breeze which kept me cool and moving. I was casting a small grub along the shoreline. With a twitch or two I'd usually have a bite. I caught about 15 with a nice mix of panfish, bluegill and redear, as well as a few bass and a couple of yellow perch. Great way to enjoy a morning, might give me hope to go back out tomorrow. Tight lines!
