Potomac Smallmouth

In spite of the recent cold front and reduced water temperatures, I found good smallmouth action on the upper Potomac. The wind finally relented enough to present lightweight jigs slowly on the bottom, which seemed to work best under the post frontal conditions. Now is a great time to catch and release large smallmouth.
