Northwest Branch Surprise

I was fishing opening day of trout season, had 2 on the stringer, as I was feeling in my powerbait I got my third fish. Much to my surprise it was net a trout. I have been fishing in Northwest Branch for 40 years and have caught bluegills, pumpkinseed and suckers but this was a first, a 9 inch smallmouth bass. Just thought I would share the surprise.
